Our goal is to raise $100,000+ to empower girls and women of the Atlas Mountains. Donations will go to building a base of operations for Soumya’s Journey in Morocco. The Soumya’s Journey Center will house a library, daycare center, production kitchen, classrooms, women’s cooperative and the SJ’s office.
$5000— Two gifts of $5000 will pruchase the land for the SJ’s center in the Atlas Mountains
$2000—One gift $2000 covers commercial kitchen appliances
$1000—Contributes to the salary of a daycare teacher for the summer program so that 20 women may attend classes or work.
$750—Contributes to the cost of daycare equipment —Chairs, tables, books and toys.
$500 — Contributes to the cost of books for the library from the very young to adults.
$250 — Office equipment and supplies.
$100 — One week salary for one construction worker
